2G scam: Kanimozhi to return to Delhi for 2G scam hearing

New Delhi, Dec 6: DMK MP Kanimozhi is likely to come down to Delhi on Tuesday to attend the hearing on the 2G scam. She had returned to Chennai after her release on bail by the Delhi High Court last week after spending seven months in jail.

Delhi High Court granted bail on the grounds that she is a woman and a mother to a small kid. She assured that she would prove her innocence and come out of the case legally and she will not quit her political career.

"I will continue the political career as my father has brought me to this field. DMK and me will together face the 2G case and will decide about the party posting later," Kanimozhi said.

Cineyug founder Karim Morani, Kusegaon directors Asif Balwa, Rajeev Agarwal, Kalaignar TV's MD Sharath Kumar, who were all accused in 2G scam, were granted bail.
