New Delhi: Building collapses, 4 dead

New Delhi, Dec 3: Four people were killed when a four-storey building collapsed in west Delhi on Saturday morning.

The incident took place at around 11.30 am near Uttam Nagar Metro station.

Police informed that the building collapsed when some construction was going on in the basement of the building.

Officials claimed that a family was living in one part of the building. He added that it is yet to ascertain that how many were present in the building when the incident took place.

"Three persons, including two women, were brought dead while a man is undergoing treatment," said Praveena Goel, Deputy Medical Superintendent of DDU.
