New Delhi, Nov 30: In what can be termed as the biggest swoop down on terrorists, the special cell of the Delhi police have arrested 6 Indian Mujahideen terrorists who are purported to be behind some of the main terror attacks that have struck India recently.

Sources have revealed that they were involved in the Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune blasts on 2010. Those arrested were part of the pan-India terror module. One of the arrested is a Pakistani national. The Delhi police special unit is understood to have intercepted a call leading to the important arrest.

The police have revealed that the arrested are part of the terror attacks outside the Jama Masjid in Delhi. Their hands are also suspected to be behind the twin blasts outside the Chinnaswamy stadium and the German bakery blast case in Pune.

The Delhi Police Commissioner and the Intelligence Bureau Director is currently briefing Home Minister P Chidambaram on the crack down. The police officials are expected to reveal the details of those arrested and the operation in a press conference some time later.
