Qatar Airways-Air Arabia avert mid air collision near Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 30: A Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Kozhikode, Kerala reportedly averted mid air collision with Air Arabia flight from Kozhikode to Sharjah near Mumbai, Maharashtra.

According to rules, a 1000 feet distance both horizontal as well as vertical is to be maintained by two commercial airlines.

Had the air collision happened, it could have resulted in loss of many lives.
