Jailed Asian Age journalist accepts links with Chhota Rajan

Murder
Mumbai, Nov 29: Jigna Vora - the jailed journalist of The Asian Age reportedly has accepted her link with underworld don, Chhota Rajan over MiD DAY scribe J Dey's murder case.

A senior police official, on the condition of anonymity, informed that despite of her initial coldness during the investigation, Vora finally started revealing truth which may help the investigating team to nail the main culprit.

A Mumbai crime branch officer said, "During interrogation, Jigna admitted that she spoke to Rajan and abused Dey on some story-related issue. She is cooperating with us but she has still not disclosed a lot of things."

Citing some "not so friendly messages" from Vora in Dey's mobile, Mumbai crime branch officials had suspected the journalist working with The Asian Age.

Vora has been accused of passing information about Dey's whereabouts to Chhota Rajan. However, police said, "We are verifying whether this information was passed on to Rajan by Vora or someone else."

J Dey, who was working with MiD DAY as a senior crime reporter, was murdered in broad daylight by unidentified assailants, who were later found out to be hired by Chhota Rajan.
