TN tribal women raped by cops

Villapuram (Tamil Nadu), Nov 27: Four tribal women of Tamil Nadu have alleged that cops have raped them in the Villapuram district in the state.

Among the victims, two are married and one is pregnant. The victims alleged that police took them for a theft enquiry and raped them. The SP and the DIG of the area have ordered a probe into case and an FIR will be filed soon. The police officers went to the site, confirmed by the police officials.

Police confirmed that the husband of one of the women was a property offender and the officers had gone to the village to nab him and others.
