Music Maestro Ustad Sultan Khan passes away

Mumbai, Nov 27: After Jagjit Singh and Bhupen Hazarika, another music maestro and Sarangi player, Ustad Sultan Khan passed away on Sunday, Nov 28. Piya Basanti Re was one of his most famous music album.

The noted Sarangi player died at the age of 71. Ustad Sultan Khan, who started performing playing Sarangi at the international level at the age of 11, own several award including India's third highest civilian honor - Padma Bhushan in 2010.

Here it can be recalled that another two music maestro of India - Jagjit Singh and Bhupen Hazarika passed away recently. Now, with Sultan Khan's demise, India lost another legend of music industry.
