Maya plays her cards, holds Dalit rally in Lucknow today

The step comes after AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's five-day Jan Sampark Yatra came to an end in Uttar Pradesh.
The convention of OBCs and Dalits will be held at Ambedkar ground in Lucknow. Around 8,000 police personnel have been deployed, while two to three people are expected to attend the mega rally.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his five day public contact programme in the state left no single oppurtunity to slam Mayawati government.
Mayawati also hit back at Rahul over the cabinet decision to allow FDI retail sector in the country saying that it was to benefit the foreign friends of 'yuvraj'.
"The decision to allow FDI in retail is suicidal and will affect small businesses, poor and farmers," Mayawati said adding that she wouldn't allow the FDI to come into her state.
Rahul on Nov 25 slammed the UP government saying that the elephant in UP was eating away all the money meant for poor.
He also said that the Maya government branded farmers as Maoists whenever they demanded their rights.
