Kiran Bedi, not surprised by the FIR

New Delhi, Nov 26: The Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi on Saturday expressed her views over the charges filed against her. She claimed that she is not "surprised" that Delhi court orders FIR against her. She has been accused of cheating, misappropriating funds in collusion with foreign companies and other foundations.

"I am informed an FIR is registered against me. For me now nothing is a surprise!" Bedi twitted.

"It only strengthens my resolve to do more," she added.

Earlier, Bedi was caught in a travel bill controversy. Bedi, a key member of Team Anna, on Oct 24 said she would return the excess airfare, which was paid to her by her sponsors and had been used by her to fund a charity organisation.
