Terrorists to carry out internet based attacks?

London, Nov 26: The British intelligence claimed that terrorists are planning to carry out an internet-based attack against national infrastructure by send viruses to disrupt the country's system.

According to The Independent, a British official claimed that terrorists have been using the internet to recruit, spread propaganda and raise funds.

However, the official didn't divulge the details on how the threat was detected and how it was dealt with. "For the moment they prefer to cover the streets in blood," said the official.

The matter was revealed when UK released its paper for the cyber security strategy stating how the country plans to protect its economy and infrastructure online. UK is looking to centre itself for the international cyber security to attract more business.
