CBI raids IAS officer's residence in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 26: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is carrying out raids at the residence of an IAS officer in Delhi. The raids were part of a disproportionate assets case. The 2000 batch IAS officer, K Dhanalakshmy who is currently posted as Director in the Social Justice Ministry is alleged to have accumulated huge amount of assets. He is from the Uttar Pradesh cadre.

Dhanalakshmy had also served at the Ministry of External Affairs three months ago. The raids were based on a complaint received against him during his stint in UP.
