Haryana: Engg student beaten to death by lover's family

Rohtak, Haryana: A 21-year-old engineering student was beaten to death by his lover's family at Sanghi village, informed the police.

Deepak, the victim had gone to Sanghi on Wednesday along with his friend to meet his lover. He was spotted by his lover's family and they assaulted him. The girl's family sent her back to the house and then thrashed Deepak. He later died on the spot, police said.

Police recovered the dead body on Nov 24. Deepak's uncle has filed a case against the girl's family. Police informed that they have arrested the girl's mother but rest of the members are absconding.
