Rape
New Delhi, Nov 23: Two people have been arrested for gangraping and robbing a 29-year-old medical student of New Delhi's Fortis Hospital, in a moving car, said the police.

According to the FIR, the victim who had gone to buy some medical equipments in the market was on her way back home when she was stopped on her way by two men who asked her for directions.

"Suddenly one of them pressed a handkerchief over my mouth. After that I fell unconscious and regained my senses two hours later. To my shock, I found myself naked. The duo raped me and forced me to drink alcohol at knife-point. They then again raped me in the moving car," said the victim to the police.

The victim, however, managed to escape from the car the next morning. "The accused, however, managed to escape in the car. Fortunately, the victim was able to note down the licence plate number," said the police.

"With the help of the car number, police arrested the accused. They are not residents of Delhi and had come to the Capital to distribute wedding invitation cards," added the police.
