Tata Group: Cyrus Mistry to succeed Ratan Tata in 2012

New Delhi, Nov 23: Shapoorji Pallonji Group MD Cyrus Mistry will succeed Ratan Tata in 2012. Mistry has been appointed as the deputy chairman of Tata sons.

Cyrus will work with Ratan Tata for one year and will take over the company the next year. Cyrus Mistry was a director of Tata Sons and Tata Elxsi (India). He holds a graduation degree in civil engineering from Imperial College, London and masters degree in management from the London Business School.

Cyrus also serves as a director on the board of several other companies, which include Shapoorji Pallonji & Co, United Motors, Forbes Gokak, Afcons Infrastructure.
