Pakistan journalists want strong democracy like India

Shimla, Nov 20: Journalists in Pakistan want a strong democracy like India in the country and feel that better contact between people in both India and Pakistan can help improve the relation between both the countries.

Sadmad Bashir, President, Lahore Press Club had expressed the view at an reception given by press club of Shimla on Nov 19.

"We should focus on more people to people contact and exchanges of artists and journalist to make the ties stronger," he said.

He further said that Pakistan's recent step to give India the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status would boost to the commercial as well as business activities between the two neighbours.
