Skype offers Facebook-to-Facebook video calling

London, Nov 18: World's most popular video calling software, Skype on Friday (today) updated its Skype 5.4 Beta for Mac and 5.7 Beta for windows which allows one to have a Facebook-to-Facebook call within Skype.

The latest development in the VoIP giant will help remove communication barriers making it easier to connect with friends, family and colleagues.

Rick Osterloh, Vice President of Product at Skype, said in a blog post, "Our approach to social is about personal connections with people. We are on a mission to connect over one billion people and our continued partnership with Facebook brings us one step closer to this goal."

Skype's new update will also allow its Mac users to do video rendering, which gives a smoother video experience and group screen sharing for Windows users with a Premium subscription. The group screen sharing will be available only for Mac users.
