J&K: Porn MMS of minor rocks the valley

Srinagar, Nov 17: The angry masses of Budgam district in Kashmir pelted stones and ransacked the house of the main accused who was involved in the porn MMS of a minor girl. He has been accused of filming the clip and distributing the MMS among mobile users.

Police arrested the main accused and filed a case of rape under section 376 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC). Police are searching the accomplices who were also involved in the case. The girl was also questioned by the police.

“We have arrested the main accused and registered a case under section 376," said Uttam Chand, senior Superintendent of Police.

“We are treating the girl as minor as she is a 11th standard student. Subsequent investigation will verify her age. We are treating her as minor and thus case of rape has been registered. Some stones might have been pelted but there was nothing serious.

"We are waiting for the medical examination and her school certificates to verify her age," he added.
