Violence in Mathura; angry mob burns bus, properties

Mathura, Nov 15: An angry mob set a bus on fire following an accident of a student with the bus on the busy road in Mathura on Tuesday, Nov 15.

According to sources, it was a hit and run case. The injured BTech student, an aspiring Engineer, has been admitted in a near by hospital. Doctors said that his situation was critical.

Citing the accident, angry people chased the bus and started pelting stone on the bus and finally burnt the vehicle. The mob allegedly burnt several other places at the place which caused loss to properties.

However, police reached the place soon after the accident and tried to disperse the mob. Currently, security has been beefed up at the entire region.
