CBI arrests former director Andhra mines department

Earlier, on Nov 11, a special CBI court adjourned hearing of the arguments on the bail petitions of former Karnataka minister Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law, who were arrested in on Sep 5 from Bellary in Karnataka, as they were involved in the illegal mining in Andhra Pradesh's Ananatpur district. Moreover, CBI filed its reply opposing the bail pleas of of Janardhana Reddy and OMC Managing Director BV Srinivas Reddy.
Former Environmental Minister, Janardhana Reddy and Srinivas Reddy are currently in judicial custody till Nov 14. They are lodged at Chanchalguda Prison in Hyderabad.
