Bhanwari Devi Case: Ex-Min Maderna being questioned by CBI

Rajasthan, Nov 10: The CBI is questioning former Water Resources Minister of Rajasthan, Mahipal Maderna in the Bhanwari Devi case. The auxiliary nurse had gone missing since the last two months after the CBI sources revealed that Maderna might hold the key to the nurse's missing.

Maderna was sacked on Oct 16 after more and more reports emerged of his involved in the Bhanwari case. The Minister was alleged to have had an illicit affair with Bhanwari. There are also reports that Bhanwari was blackmailing Maderna on the basis of a CD that showed Bhanwari and Maderna in a compromising position.

With Bhanwari missing for this long and no clues on her whereabouts and her body not recovered, the fingers are pointing more and more towards Maderna.
