Anna Hazare rejects link with RSS

Ralegan Siddhi, Nov 10: Social activist and India's face against corruption, Anna Hazare on Thursday (today) made it clear that he has no links with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Speaking to media persons in Ralegan Siddhi, Anna said, "I have no links with the RSS. I don't care what everybody is saying as people know what Anna is. I don't need RSS."

He further said that he is being targeted by different people taking the issue of RSS. Meanwhile, on Wednesday (Nov 9), Vishnu Bhagwat, RSS chief had said that they strongly supported the anti-corruption crusader's movement against corruption.

"We support Anna. Many of our workers have joined his movement. We haven't asked them to support neither have we stopped them," Bhagwat had said.

Moreover, last week Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh had claimed that Team Anna has link with Bharatiya Janta Party.
