New Delhi, Nov 9: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday (today) adjourned the bail plea of 2G scam accused Karim Morani and directed the Tihar jail authorities to submit the bollywood producer Morani's medical report.

Meanwhile, Delhi HC declared that Morani's bail plea would be heard on Dec 1. Rejecting Morani's bail plea submission indicating he was sick and not in good health and should be granted bail as per section 437 of the CrPC, a Delhi High Court judge had said the medical records do not suggests that 'standard of illness of Morani is so high as to categorize his custody as detrimental to his health'.

Karim Morani, who has been sent to Tihar jail on May 30, is believed to be a close friend of the Badshah Khan. Speculation on Shahrukh's 2G connection was fueled up when reports showed that Morani's daughter Zoa debuted in the movie, Always Kabhi Kabhi, produced by Shahrukh's Redchillies.

The Delhi High Court on May 30 rejected the bail plea of Karim Morani, the owner of Cineyug Films Pvt Ltd. Morani had been accused of accepting Rs 6 crore kickbacks for assisting the Rs 200 crore transaction from DB Realty to Kalaignar TV. His earlier anticipatory bail plea on medical grounds was rejected by the special court on May 23.
