Woman gangraped at knifepoint in front of hubby, children

Satara, Nov 8: A woman was gang raped in front of her husband and children by three dacoits at Pharandewadi village near Phaltan town, said the police.

The dacoits were apparently unhappy after looting the house of the victims and in turn raped the 40-year-old woman in taking turns to rape her in front of her kids and husband, they said.

The police said that the accused forcefully entered the victim's house when they were sleeping in the wee hours.

They looted cash, gold, silver ornaments worth Rs 18,500 from the victims.

An FIR has been registered with the Phaltan Police Station.
