UP: Afraid of Rahul Gandhi, Sri Sri Ravishankar skips Amethi

Lucknow, Nov 8: The religious guru - Sri Sri Ravishankar suddenly changed his venue during his anti-corruption yatra in Uttar Pradesh. On the second day (Tuesday, Nov 8) of his yatra, Sri Sri informed that he would not visit Amthi to avoid any kind of confrontation with Congress workers.

Citing Sri Sri's comments it seems that the Art of Living famous religious guru was afraid of facing Congress' rahul Gandhi in Amethi. Here it can be mentioned that Amethi is Rahul Gandhi's constituency.

Meanwhile, it also has been reported that Sri Sri decided to skip Amethi as the host of the yatra has been pressurised to cancel his (Sri Sri) plan of visiting Amethi during his anti-corruption yatra.

However, Sri Sri will travel to Jaunpur, Sultanpur, Mirzapur, Amethi, Sonebhadra, Chandauli and Kanpur from Nov 7 – 10. Coincidentally, these districts are predominantly considered Congress strongholds.
