Uttar Pradesh: Omar Abdullah to campaign for Congress

Jammu, Nov 8: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his father will campaign for Congress in Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming assembly elections.

According to a National Conference leader, the Abdullahs were requested to join the campaign and both of them have agreed to campaign for the party. Congress is hoping to get the crucial minority votes for the coming elections.

The National Conference Party (NCP) is supporting the Congress-led UPA government in the centre while the NCP is supported by the Congress at the state. Omar Abdullah is ready to campaign for Congress to strengthen the relationship between Jammu and Kashmir's ruling parties.
