'Muammar Gaddafi spent last fews days reading, writing'

Mansour Daou, a top security official in the Gaddafi regime revealed that before Gaddafi's capture, the group of 200 men roamed from place to place without any water, food and communication with the outside world.
He further said that while many of Gaddafi's loyalist stayed with him, many other chose to flee.
According to Daou, Muammar Gaddafi's final days were spent writing and reading books.
“He was very worried and erratic – this could be because he was afraid," said Dauo adding that Gaddafi's behaviour became unpredictable.
Gaddafi's aides pleaded with him that he flee the country and go, but the former ruler believed that he could rule again and chose to go back to his birthplace, Jaref.
Gaddafi was killed on Oct 20 by rebel forces near his hometown in Sirte where he was captured.
“Whoever is responsible for that (Gaddafi"s killing) will be judged and given a fair trial," said Abdel Hafiz Ghoga, NTC Vice Chairman.
“I am sure that was an individual act and not an act of revolutionaries or the national army," he said.
