Massive earthquake jolts Delhi, Jammu Kashmir & Pak

New Delhi, Nov 7: A massive earthquake jolted New Delhi, Jammu Kashmir along with other parts of North India on Monday, Nov 7. According to sources, the earthquake was of 5.8 magnitude in richter scale.

The tremor in the region caused panic among the people when the country was celebrating Bakri-Eid. However, no loss of damage to life or property has been reported so far from the region.

According to sources, the epicentre of the quake was Hindukush region, near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The tremor was also felt at Peshawar, SWAT area on Afghanistan-Pakistan border and in Kabul.

Here it can be recalled that another massive earthquake had rocked the North-East India, especially Sikkim. Almost 1,000 people died and many were injured over the quake.
