Man kills his wife over suspicion

Hyderabad, Nov 7: A 22-year-old girl was murdered by her husband in Hafizpet on Sunday.

Two years back, Lakshmi, the victim fell in love with Ramana, the accused and got married. They were blessed with a 14-months-old son, Akhil. Currently, Ramana suspected his wife, having extra-marital affair with another person. Suspicion led to regular quarrels between them. Due to his suspicion, Ramana shifted his family to Hafizpet from Kondapur.

On Saturday night, the angry Ramana strangled her to death after they fought on the same issue, said Miyapur inspector S Bheem Reddy. Ramana surrendered himself before police and a murder case was charged against him.
