Eid-ul-Zuha 2011: Most expensive goat priced at Rs.1.5 lakh

According to reports, for the Eid-ul-Zuha celebrations in the year 2010, a much healthier goat was priced at Rs 4.5 lakh.
The twin pair of white-coloured sheep, weighing around 50 kg from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh are also making headlines and one may cost around Rs.2.67 lakh.
The popular breeds, according to shopkeepers are Babari, Desi, Totapuri and Mewati from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan and are priced between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000.
According to the religious custom, the sacrificial goat has to be selected carefully and has to be strong, healthy and should not have any deformities.
