Crippled Manipur has just one day's fuel supply left

Manipur, Nov 6: N Biren, government spokeperson said that the state had just a day's fuel supply left.

Manipur which has been hit by an economic blockade was brought to a stand off after rivalry between Kuki and Naga groups.

The last stock of petroleum products were released by the government on Nov 5. Atleast 100 trucks are grounded on National Highway 37 as the Jatingha bridge needs to be repaired urgently.
