BJP will form a separate Telangana, if voted to power:Sushma

New Delhi, Nov 6: Opposition leader in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj said the BJP will form a seprate Telangana in three months if the party was voted to power in next elections.

She further said that her party was devoted to finding a permanent solution to the problem as BJP was always in favour of smaller states in the country.

"Telangana state demand is not by separatists, but it is by the people of the region, who suffered backwardness and lack of development," she said.

She was speaking at a public meeting organised in Nalgonda in support of a separate Telangana.

She also said that her party would extend support for creating a separate Telangana if the government moved a bill in the Winter Session of the Parliament. Swaraj also raised 'Jai Telangana' slogans at the end of the meeting.
