Raids on Pg 3 celeb, industrialist Gautam Singhania's office

New Delhi, Nov 3: The Income Tax Department conducted searches at the premises of industrialist Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, Raymond Group in Delhi and Mumbai over the charges of alleged tax evasion.

The I-T raids began early morning and was started by the intelligence Wing of the department.

A team of at least 150 I-T officials began searching the office of Singhania.

It is unknown if the I-T sleuths searched the residential premises of the business tycoon.

"Some premises of the group will also be covered in the searches in Delhi," said an I-T official.
