UP: Students thrown out of train, one killed

Saharanpur (UP), Nov 1: A student was killed while three others were injured when they were allegedly thrown out from a running train by some passengers following a quarrel over a seat.

Mayank (18) and Vanshaj (17) and two others were returning to their hometown Saharanpur from Yamuna Nagar on Jannayak Express when they had an argument with passengers over a seat. Following a scuffle between the students and some passengers, the youths were allegedly thrown out of the train when it neared Saharanpur.

Mayank died on the spot while Vanshaj was rushed to a hospital where his condition was stated to be critical. Two other students received minor injuries.
