Youths rape woman, husband held at knifepoint

Mumbai, Oct 31: Two youths have been charged with rape after they gang-raped a woman outside her hut, while her husband was held at knifepoint in Ulwe, Belapur, said police.

According to the police, the accused, Pratap Narhari Patil, a resident of Ulwe was held by the police after he committed the heinous crime.

The victim's husband said that two youths barged into their hut and then threatened him at the knifepoint and raped his wife after which they fled the scene.

One of the accused, Patil was nabbed by the police based on the husband's description.
