Cash-for-votes: Nitin Gadkari visits Tihar jail on Monday

New Delhi, Oct 31: BJP President Nitin gadkari visited Tihar jail on Monday to meet the former BJP leader Fuggan Singh Kulaste, Mahavir Singh Bhagora and LK Advani's former aide Sudheendra Kulkarni. Gadkari met them after the Delhi High court received a response from the police on the bail pleas.

Delhi High Court issued a notice to Delhi police on the bail pleas of accused who were involved in the Cash-for-votes scam.

Kulkarni challenged the rejection of his bail plea by the trial court, he considered himself as the guiding star and facilitator of the conspirator.

Advocate Mahipal Ahluwalia filed a petition in which Kulkarni and BJP MPs was involved in the string operation of 2008 trust vote.

A notice was also issued after Suhail Hindustani's filed its bail application who was also involved in 2008 case scam. He challenged the verdict of trial court that dismissed the bail pleas of accused.
