Tainted ministers to share dais with LK Advani in Bangalore

Corrupt ministers including, Home Minister, R Ashoka and Industrial Minister Murugesh Nirani who are facing charges of corruption have been asked to attend the public meeting. State Lokayukta police registered an FIR against Nirani on 29 in link with a case of land denotification.
The decision to invite the tainted ministers comes in the face of State BJP president K S Eshwarappa"s remark that Advani will not be left embarrassed at the Bangalore rally.
Earlier, the party had decided to keep tainted ministers out of the three days rally, given the anti-corruption tone of the nation-wide yatra. However, in changing their mind said that the party may be vertically divided between Yeddyurappa loyalists and those standing by the state leadership.
The veteran leader is likely to begin his the three-day Jana Chetana Yatra in Karnataka from Bangalore by addressing a public gathering at National College grounds at 5 pm. Advani is expected to address a public meeting at the National College Grounds in the Garden City later in the evening. Before entering Goa, Advani's yatra has been scheduled to travel Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada on Oct 31 and Nov 1.
