Egypt: Hosni Mubarak's trial to be postponed to Dec 28

Cairo, Oct 30: An Egyptian court has delayed the trial of former president Hosni Mubarak till Dec 28 as the court panel was accused for being biased.

Judge Ahmed Refaat announced the adjournment, the session was attended by president's sons Alaa and Jamal, the interior minister Habib Al Adly and six policemen. The trial was started on August 3, an Egyptian ruler was being prosecuted for the first time.

Earlier this year, Mubarak and his sons ordered to kill around 850 civilians during a popular uprising in Egypt.
