Amar Singh discharged from AIIMS, to snub court order?

New Delhi, Oct 30: Days after his bail, cash-for-votes scam tainted, Amar Singh on Sunday, Oct 30 has been discharged from AIIMS hospital. But soon after his discharge from the hospital, the former Samajwadi Party leader landed in a new controversy.

The Delhi High Court, while granting bail to him (Amar Singh), ordered him not to go outside the country and not even outside the national capital. However, Singh claimed that he will go Singapore for further treatment.

Showing his empathy towards Samajwadi Party, Singh also chided, "I do not want my name to be associated with the Samajwadi Party."

Amar Singh was arrested over his alleged role in cash for votes scam which had shattered the Parliament in 2008 ahead of the trust vote for Indo-US nuclear deal.

The MP has been suffering from increase serum creatinine, UTI, increased TSH and vitamin B12 deficiency. His medical report submitted by AIIMS revealed that he had developed severe abdominal pain and was prone to infections as he had undergone a renal transplant.
