T-row: KCR to go on 72-hr fast, to term Nov 1as betrayal day
The step comes following government's plan to have a grand celebration on Nov 1- the formation day of Andhra Pradesh. The day, however, has been seen as a betrayal day by pro-Telangana groups.
“Many of the MLAs would observe their fast in Hyderabad. There is also a proposal to ask the MLAs to go to their constituencies and sit on fast. Since KCR represents Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha constituency, he is likely to sit on fast there," a party source said.
Sources also reveal that Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, senior Congress leader and former minister will also go on a fast from Nov 1 and convert his fast into an indefinite with the single demand for the formation of Telangana.
