Land grab case filed against wrestler Great Khali

Shimla, Oct 24: A land encroachment case has been filed by a local resident against International Wrestler Khali who alleged that his land also fell under the same area bought by the wrestler.

Khali bought the 2.5 acre land with the plans to set up a wrestling academy in Paonta Sahib town, Sirmour district, Himachal Pradesh.

Reports reveal that Khali bought 16 lands few months ago in Gujjar Colony adjoining Badripur, Paonta Sahib.

After registering the land with the revenue authorities, Khali returned to the US. Trouble started brewing for the wrestler after Ramesh Kumar lodged a written complaint with the Chief Minister Prem Kumar and DGP DS Manhas.

The police were asked to probe into the matter and are awaiting Khali's return so that the dispute can be resolved.
