London, Oct 24: Julian Assange, who has shocked and thrilled the world after revealing several secret facts, shocked the world once again on Monday, Oct 24.

Assange announced that his weapon - WikiLeaks has been shut down, though temporarily. Assange and his associates put all blame on US financial companies for allegedly stopping the aide to the group.

According to sources, WikiLeaks has been thrashed into the corner as many US financial companies stopped all kind of help with money including Visa, MasterCard, Western Union and PayPal.

Citing the news, many started claiming that it was the US pressure that the American financial companies restrained themselves to help Assange and WikiLeaks. Here it can be recalled that WikiLeaks had published some 250,000 US secret State Department cables.

According to the statement issued by the WikiLeaks spokesperson, "(WikiLeaks must) aggressively fund-raise in order to fight back against this blockade and its proponents." However, Assange promised to fight back the current crisis to return back to the track.
