Bhutan Royals to arrive in India today
The King during the visit will also hold bilateral talks with India.
The External Affairs Ministry announcing their visit to the country had said that the King and Queen would also go to Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur during their nine day visit.
“The visit of their Majesties is in keeping with the tradition of regular high-level visits and exchanges between India and Bhutan. While in India, the King will meet with the President who will host a banquet in his honour," said an MEA release.
The King will also hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh apart from meeting the Vice President and other dignitaries in the country.
This would be the first visit of the King to make any visit outside his country after his Royal wedding on Oct 13.
“The visit will contribute to further strengthening and expanding the close bilateral relations between our two countries", the release had said.
