LK Advani's comments upset depressed BS Yeddyurappa
"No party can effectively win the confidence of the people against the corruption if their house is also involved in one. We are conscious of this," Advani had said in a public rally during his Jan Chetna Yatra in Nagpur.
"There is no comparison between what happened in Karnataka and what is happening in Central government but I have always said that the small mistakes in Karnataka is affecting the party," said Advani.
"Yeddyurappa was hurt by Advani's comments and wants to return to jail," said State Housing Minister, Somanna.
BS Yeddyurappa was shifted to the Victoria Hospital after he was discharged from Jayadeva Hospital on Tuesday citing depression as the reason.
The BJP leader was arrested after high drama on Saturday, Oct 15 after he was charged in a land allotment case. Hours after his arrest, Yeddyurappa complained of chest pain following which he was hospitalised for treatment.
Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa's bail plea has been adjourned by the Karnataka High Court till Oct 20. Yeddyurappa has been remanded to judicial custody till Oct 22 by a Special Lokayukta Court.
