Gujarat: Top Cop Sanjeev Bhatt gets bail

Sanjeev Bhatt was arrested after he allegedly made a constable sign a false affidavit that implicated Chief Minister, Gujarat, Narendra Modi of ordering cops to go slow in the 2002 Gujarat riots.
Bhatt is expected to walk out of the Sabarmati jail by noon, said IH Saiyed, his lawyer who also said that his bail was a great relief to everyone.
"I cannot say anything right now as I am in police custody. It is not the right time. If I want I can say lot of things but would not like to comment. It is now for media to decide what is right and what is wrong," Bhatt had said when he was in jail.
