Maoists refuse to follow Mamata's deadline

While addressing a rally in Jhargram, Mamata cleared her views that negotations and violence cannot go side by side. Mamata accused the maoist for killing the trinamool workers and blamed them for going on their old path of violence. Maoists have demanded the release of the priosners before any peace talks with the state government.
Mamata Banerjee was quoted as saying, "Maoists have no ideals. They are 'supari' killers, jungle mafia. People hate violence. We initiated the peace process. We will continue the negotiations, but you (the rebels) have to lay down arms."
Ashok Jiban, Spokesperson Of People's Committee Against Police Atrocities was quoted as saying, "First we want the withdrawal of the security forces, then we want the unconditional release of all the prisoners and withdrawal of false cases. The Chief Minister of West Bengal made these promises before the elections."
