Bhanwari Devi: Gehlot sacks his minister under suspicion
Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot wanted to remove Maderna from his ministry, so he sent a recommendation to the Governor. Gehlot instructed Maderna to resign once his name was connected with the abducted case but he didn't step down.
Devi was the auxiliary nurse midwife at the sub-centre in Jaliwada village, she was missing from Sep 1. According to her husband, she was kidnapped at the behest of Maderna and his associates. However, Rajasthan government requested centre to hand over the case to CBI.
On Aug 24, she (Bhanwari Devi) last registered at the sub-centre. Some locals revealed that she had political connections. Even she was found in a compromising state with the minister, found in a CD sometimes back.
