French prez Sarkozy leaves bar without paying

New York, Oct 15: French president Nicolas Sarkozy had left a rural bar without paying when he bought some drinks for his friends. The embarrassing situation arised when the French President tried to act like 'man of the people' by buying some drinks for his friends at a bar in Villetelle, a small village in the country's central Creuse region after that he left bar without paying.

Sarkozi ordered six coffees, totalling 6 euros and 60 cents which equivalent of just under 6 pounds. "It just shows Mr Sarkozy is the complete opposite of a man of the people," the Daily Mail quoted a local resident as saying.
