Telangana: Trains to run smoothly, JAC postpones blockade

Hyderabad, Oct 11: The Telangana Joint Action Committee postponed its rail blockade till Oct 15, the South Central Railway (SCR) announced the smooth running of trains from Wednesday, Oct 12.

The JAC declared that the rail blockade dates would be Oct 15, 16 and 17. Earlier the dates were Oct 12, 13 and 14.

However, SCR had announced the cancellation of over 100 trains for three days in the Telangana region, now it had withdrew its cancellation.

In the previous month, the railways had cancelled 72 Express and 264 passenger trains during the two-day rail blockade.
