Aamir Khan
Mumbai, Oct 10: It seems popular Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan is not an idiot after all after he had a minor brush with law. He was caught in the wrong side of law when he drove into a a no-entry lane in Satara on Sunday. He was stopped by traffic constables for the act and like a responsible law-abiding citizen, he paid the fine of Rs 100.

He was also courteous enough to admit his mistake and said, "Meri galti hai (It's my mistake)."

Fans who had gathered in the meanwhile, asked for their favourite star to be let off without a fine. Aamir, however insisted on paying the fine. A crowd had gathered in the vicinity by that time. Constable Sanjay Sable issued a challan of Rs 100 before the crowd swelled further.

Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao were travelling from Panchgani in their BMW and were on their way to Kaas plateau. Aamir was himself driving the car when the incident occurred with his bodyguards following him in another car. It has been reported that Aamir took a wrong turn at the Shivaji circle near the Powai naka area. This led to Aamir entering the no-entry area. The constable Sable said that the actor admitted his mistake and said, "He said anyone who is wrong should pay a fine and the police should not let anyone get away."
