CellApp a finalist for Red Herring Top 100 Asia Award

Bangalore, Oct 8: CellApp Technologies India Pvt Ltd has been chosen as a finalist for Red Herring Top 100 Asia Award from the Asian business region.

Red Herring Top 100 Asia Award, is a list that awards the most promising private technology venture for the year. The nominees are assessed both on qualitative and quantitative standards like quality of management, integration into their respective industries and technology innovation, execution of strategy.

"This year was very rewarding," said Alex Vieux, publisher and Chairman, Red Herring.

"The global economic situation has abated and there are many great companies producing really innovative and amazing products. We had a very difficult time narrowing the pool and selecting the finalists. CellApp shows great promise therefore deserves to be among the Finalists. The finalists for the year 2011 were picked out by the Red Herring 100 Asia award based on their management strength, technological innovation, market size, financial health and investor record.

The finalists have also been invited to bring forth their winning strategies at the Red Herring Asia Forum in Hong Kong on Oct 17-19, 2011. The Top 100 winners will be declared at a special awards ceremony the evening at the event on Oct 19.
